Cherished Antique Ethnic Lace Top

I feel this is super special, but I have no idea at all as to what its country of origin is. It was a gift to me because I cherish and treasure ethnic folk wear and costume. It has been wrapped up and kept untouched for a very long time. It is the most paper thin almost chiffon fabric overlay I've ever seen. It is entirely hand stitched and the lace on the sleeves and bottom is stiff and very thick. I definitely need help to at least get some direction as to the continent it might have come too me from.
