I picked this up to day old clock made in Germany by Sohatz 8 day. It is in good working condition but I don't know how old it is.

I have similar and mine cannot regulate itself. I love it though. Use clock oil small amount and it should run sweet. The movement may have a number which may direct you too some more information.
