I bought this 10 years ago and I'm almost sure this is a Flemish still life from the 17 th century

I purchased this oil on canvas 10 years ago and I'm almost sure it's a Flemish still life from the 1700's . It's also been the cause of hours of debate since most of my peers think I'm crazy to think it could be what I believe it is. There is a very very faint signature which isn't legible.e
