I've had these for years, back when big earrings were 'in,' and imagine that these were inspired by Cartier. No mark on the back, so I'd like to know who the maker is, if possible, and anything else.

It's not possible to name a maker. This particular set isn't listed on the web. There are a number of versions of the leopard/panther door knocker earrings out there.
These are very much like the design for lion drawer pulls which feature the pull ring in the lions mouth. I have some furniture with that design from the early 1800's, years before Cartier.
Yes, I've seen the drawer pulls, too. I guess this big cat design was used a lot--very Duchess of Windsor.
