Hello Everyone!
Good to have a moment to post something I found when I stopped by a thrift store yesterday while making a "quick" grocery store run....lol
Family health issues has my head spinning for being so busy and overwhelmed. So I'm happy to show you these Vietnam souvenir paintings I picked up for a friends smoking room. I figure they are falling apart anyway, so I don't see why the smoke can't finish them off.
But the colors are very vibrant and eye pleasing. I do wonder if they are as old as they appear? They are both signed the same, one in bottom right corner and the other in the bottom left corner. A piece of a white sticker remains on sunset one that says something about Vietnam souvenirs. They both measure 28 1/2" x 17 1/2" and both have a hanging loop on the top of the frame. I think the signature is actually not a signature but a place...Vietnam. So do any of you have an age guess?

I sure wish I could date them.
They are what I grabbed last minute as I noticed a large lot of art work had arrived in the GW as they were closing and running me out. But I took a couple snapshots of a few pieces and later learned I bought the wrong pieces for sure. Even though I love these and they are perfectly suited for the intended location, I missed some real art in my haste. Dangit!
