This old dresser was left in the basement of my garage. . I had to argue with my guy not to throw it out. It had a marble top which was broke in half. But extremely heavy and solid wood. . Any ideas what to do with this? I might have the key for the locks.

Wow, nice! If I had that I would refinish it in some unique and creative way. If you go on Pinterest and punch "refinished furniture" or some-such into the search, you will find a wealth of ideas...
Nice Victorian dresser-- the drawer shows hand dovetails.
I really like the added paint details and would put the money into replacing the marble top and use it!

Thank you! Yes i really like this piece. And do actually need another dresser.. i have the handle still that's missing. But the drawers need to be tightened up. I still have the broken slab of marble too. Its broke right down the middle. Thought id use that in my plant room. This dresser is extremely heavy. Think its oak? Seems solid wood. . Not veneer.
