I don't know much about this at all. Found it at a garage sale about 12 years ago. It is made of pine needles and has a wood base. I'd love to know if it is vintage, contemporary, Native American, and how to clean and preserve it. It the only rustic thing I own and cherish.
I think you will probably find that the bottom is plywood & that would answer some of your questions.
