I found this bottle many years ago when I was clearing out an old garage. I think it was issued by the Shell Oil Company but I don't know what might have been in it. I know they issued aftershave and the like in similar bottles for promotional purposes but the opening of this bottle looks very wide for aftershave. Does anyone know what was in this bottle and if it was indeed issued by Shell Oil.
5 inches high.
I would've thought that if it was a shell oil bottle it would have shell written on it !!
Just a thought as all shell advertising things I've seen are marked..
What about an old Avon bottle??
Not suggesting that it had oil in it but maybe something else for a promotion or gift for customers. For example BP once gave out miniature petrol cans filled with perfume to the ladies at a company dinner.
We have one too - also found in an old garage.
