Your going to have to look very closely and just about everywhere. Easiest to see outside in the shade. Do you have a loupe? Stick a magnet to it and if it sticks, you know for sure it's not silver, but it still could be something else. That's just a first clue. It's really a nice letter opener. I hope you always are able to open letters that don't make you angry! haha Someone may be along to let you know more info... ;)
