Large beautiful light blue ring set in silver with beautiful detail on the setting/band. This was from my great great aunt and I do not know much about the make of the ring....glass stone??

This is a really pretty ring!! Are there any silver marks on it?
TassieDevil. The setting/band is marked as sterling silver. The only silver is the band and the setting that holds the stone. All the way around on all 4 sides are really detailed filagree "carvings" in the silver. I can post additional photos if you would like. I'm just very curious as to what the stone is… Glass? Something else? Nonetheless, it is a family heirloom.
