Diploma from 1909 Found Behind Picture

Took back off of picture and found Edmund Wilhelm Knobel high school diploma from 1909. Always thought this was my most exciting find! I have never had any success finding his family. Both the picture and diploma are 16 by 20 in. If anybody knows more about the picture or diploma please let me know. Thanks!
