Well my wife likes a bit of vintage elegant china, so when I seen this today in a charity shop I thought it would put a smile on her face. 2 Noritake china cups and saucers, however one of the saucers is a slightly different pattern. I have hunted around the net and I have been unable to find the pattern, so I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light? The mark suggests pre war, so 1930 - 1940?

Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks all.

I love the wide, flat cup shapes. Beautiful design.

Yes it is rather elegant, and nice colour. The same pattern being on the bottom of the cup I thought was unusual, but I have little clue about these things so in reality everyone could have done it! I'm have to have another hunt around tonight and see if I can find the name of it and a rough date.
