I got this from a family member who bought it at an auction in the 60's. I looked through several R.S. Prussia books and cannot find this mold. I have a few other bowls and Chocolate Pots, but this one is my favorite, maybe because it intrigues me so much. Anyone have any ideas?

A very nice and unusual piece. I believe this mold has not been documented, as I do not recognize it. However, very similar molds are shown in "R. S. Prussia - the Art Nouveau Years" by Lee and Carol Marple, pp. 122 - 125. The decor is seen on unmarked items (I have a few examples).

I bought a few books online and I'm hoping they show up in the next few days, that is one of them along with a few Mary Frank Gaston books. Thanks for the info! I heard from someone that undocumented molds aren't as uncommon as one might think, is this true?

Yes, every so often I see or find an item in a mold that I haven't seen before. It's an interesting and challenging aspect to collecting RS Prussia and its related porcelain.

Thanks amarcus for the info again. Hopefully it will be a challenge for me to find a piece I haven't seen before.
