From 1950, although since they married on Groundhog's Day, Feb 2nd, my Dad could have POSSIBLY bought in in 1949 but we'll go with 1950.
Despite being 4 months shy of their 60th anniversary when my Dad passed, my Mom never wanted to upgrade. She wanted to also make sure we kept it in the family.
We've discussed soldering the 2 pieces together. Unsure what we'll do but one thing is for sure, we are keeping her ring no matter if it is worth .50
