I'm sure ladies were never forced to use one of these to give birth but its in a traditional accepted style. Traditional Spanish shaped Knights templar leather and wood birthing chair, its really a three legged stool.
That's one really interesting chair. I love that tooling in the leather.

That long panel of tooled leather is superb !
It is and now is polished with saddle soap and smells wonderful!
What is the value range on a chair like this? I have a friend wanting to sell one like this. I really think it is neat and want to know if the price is right.
