I was given this from a Canadian family that was moving back to Canada and could not take it with them my grandmother said she believes it's from the early 1900's made by the French it has solid brass handles and hooks the wood is puzzled the glass mirror is still intact and the whole thing comes apart for travel into three pieces. I would love to know a little more about.

Yes, it is Art Nouveau period, more like the period at the turn of the century. Beautiful. Reminds me very much of the furniture and style of Hector Guimard. Please see his work on Wikipedia.

      We'd call it a wardrobe.

Luv the old t/d (take down) armoires & other t/d furniture. I made furniture for awhile that t/d without any tools. An armoire was next on my list when I went back to the easier job of working on flying machines. Seeing this makes me want to finally make one again.

If I was trying to get it appraised does anyone know how I would go about that?
