I found this at a good will a few years back. Was never able to find an appropriate frame so its just been leaning on a wall. Can someone tell
me what this type of painting is called. Its not an oil or acrylic medium.
Cement?

Probably some sort of gesso (plaster of paris) that was applied with a trowel or palette knife and then painted.
