Looking for information on this sign. Think it is an old Highway marker for Highway 31. The N. Hob I know nothing about, except maybe a town on the route. Any help out there? 8" x 24" steel.

Looks more like it was a mile-marker than route sign, to me. North Hoboken, route 3A, mile31??? (total guessing, does such a town/road/place even exist?)
