This is a beautiful sweetmeat bowl/dish of rich cobalt blue glass made in England by Celtic Quality Plate. I just love cobalt blue glass, and this one is a deep, rich blue!

    Dimensions:
    • Height, 2-7/8”
    • Base Diameter, 2-5/8”
    • Bowl Diameter, 3-5/8”
    • Bowl Depth, 1-3/4”
    • Weight, 8.2 oz

Wish I knew its est date of manufacture. Anyone have history/info on Celtic Quality Plate and yrs of production?

I love, LOVE LOVE the blue!!!!!!!! I think I have 4 sets of salt and pepper shakers to this piece! My set originally came in a box. I forgot themin my sisters car in NJ and when she came to visit she put them in a different box because the box they came in she thought was to old ...UGH! However I use them with my Blue Danube china during gatherings .

The Celtic brand silver w/ the cobalt blue was mfg'd sometime in the 1930's-1940's. Couldn't find anymore info.
