Can you flip your photos over ? It's hard to examine them upside down.

American made Barrel or round top trunk, probably from around late 1880's to late 1890's give or take a bit, very common trunk for the time, without a makers label very hard to say who or where it was made, very common for trunks not to have a makers label. Interior looks complete except for the hat box lid, that would be the box with the rounded top edges, looks to be in pretty good shape, has been painted, the tin between the wood slats is smooth, so my guess is that it was a crystallized tin, gold was the most common color, but it came in silver, green, blue, orange, it looked somewhat like a frosted window, but in color, greendog.
