    Anyone know anything about this kind of lock? I found it in the 90's in an old field where we used to find arrowheads. It was in rural Alabama. I have no idea how old it is.

      I just found the same lock on the ESVA

      Thats an old mailbox lock, it kept the door shut and the mailman would just dlide the mail through a slot.
