This is a very heavy sculpture. I think it is stone - like a slate or something? maybe it's an artificial stone. I can't find a signature anywhere, but i'm tempted to remove the green felt from the bottom. it reminds me of those carved wooden pieces i have from Africa. I have a large stone one too. it also reminds me of a very stylized Henry Moore. it's about 9" long.

Very modern and neat sculpture and I would remove felt to look :-)
i removed the felt and there's a sticker which says 'HAND-CRAFTED IN AFRICA ESPECIALLY FOR TRIBAL EYE'.
That is interesting sticker ! Glad you took the plunge and took off felt :-)
thanks Manikin. i wonder if Tribal Eye has anything to do w/ the Joseph Campbell series...?
