After many years of collecting melmac and melamine I stumbled upon these melmac color chips. I can only assume that these were presented to molders who had clients wanting melmac items molded. Some are dead on for some of the Russel Wright colors in early Meladur line, others just a hue off. How rare they are to find and some with the original catalog code.

Hi I do not have an answer for you, but a question. I have the yellow bowl you show in your picture. I am curious of its origin, and history. I bought the bowl at a thrift store for $3 because of the color and shape. The bottom simply reads made in Germany. Appreciate any info. Thank you
