Excited about recent purchase of Cochiti (?) bowl and cup. Bowl is 8.5" W, 2” H.
Can you assist in the Pueblo and age of both pieces?

I'd say late 1890s/early 20th century, as far as dating goes. Cochiti is a possibility, but so is Tesuque Polychrome. Check out some of the design patterns shown in Harlow's "Matte-Paint Pottery," especially example P discussed on page 136, and shown on page 140. It's the same rim banding as on your cup, and identified as Tesuque, as is that black figure with the four leaves or petals or (?).
That's one of the problems in trying to identify some pieces based just on photos...in some cases you need a hands-on examination to see the things that don't show up in a picture. Harlow discusses the differences between the slip finish, and the tempering material (for example) between Kiua Polychrome and Tesuque Polychrome...which are too detailed to go into here. So I'm afraid I can't give a definitive identification...but I certainly would have purchased them, as well!
