19c Arab Fisherman standing next to his boat signed Charles Payne 96 Watercolour Painting
I purchased this picture about 15yrs ago from a local boot fair and was wondering if you could help with the artist, I know there was a Charles Johnson Payne- Alias Charles Henry Payne (Snaffles) who painted at the time but as I can not match the signature I can not tell if it was him or not. Please can someone help with the artist and I thank everyone in advance for all their help. I have currently lent the picture to someone as they had a space which needed to be filled above the fireplace, if I remember correctly the size is 15” x 9”
