Hi guys, I am new here and have no idea how things work, so please bear with me. I got this figurine at auction from an antique store and I have searched for info for days with no luck. I’m hoping someone here can solve my mystery. I didn’t know before I bought it that the store owner had marked it as c.1865, but I can’t confirm that. It is pretty heavy for a figurine and is 8” tall. It has a clear glaze on the base but none elsewhere. The only markings I can see are some scratched letters under the bottom the begin with X. Help!!

Beautiful figurine!! Not my area of expertise, but I'm sure there's someone here on CW that can help you with this one. Certainly looks to have some age to it. Welcome to CW akadog!!
