Hello Collectors!
It is some sort of waffle iron , cookie press , or torture device.
There is a waffle type pattern but it seems that when closed there wouldn’t be much room for batter or fillings.
No marking but there seems to be flame residue, not sure if it was held over campfire or wood burning stove.
Appears to be very old.
Any thought ?
That is a proper waffle not one of those annoying Belgian waffles. The toppings go on top, generally butter and syrup.
