    Unknown hand tool that is marked made in W Germany — possibly a crimper but unknown. The handle has a recoil automatically opens. The logo looks like three cats or three owls standing on a platform in a circle.

      I believe this is a tool for working on manual typewriters. I have a different tool with the same 3-owl trademark (and I am trying to find out more about the German company) and it specifically removes the rings on the glass-topped typewriter keys. I can imagine this tool is used to bend or modify the type bars or linkages.
