Could anyone possibly help identify anything about this type of wood, age, hand made and carved or machine made and carved it was on the side of the road to be thrown away with trash my wife and I really liked it so we took it and any help or ideas would be great has a a cutout on top with what looks like marble sitting in there loose it can be removed and all the screw or nail holes are filled with little caps or wood cutoits so you cant see the nails thanks
