Devil with a pitch fork over his shoulder is engraved on the underside of the cushion of this signet ring.
It was found years ago and has been handed down from my great grandfather. Unfortunately the shank was replaced many years ago so any hallmarks have been erased. I’m just wondering if anyone has come across something like this before. I must say it’s a lovely piece of Jewellery it’s 18ct and very heavy.

I see what you are saying it is. In fact, I see it clearly. Someone told me I had something like that on one of my rings, they also said some other weird stuff but mine doesn't look like this. Anyway, what is the design on the outside of the ring? That person told me mine may have been a "witches" ring, or "wicca". She also said it could be used for good or bad and not to sell it should it get in the wrong hands. I figured she thought she would just scare me and it would be here so she could take it! LOL! Anyway, can you show the outside design. You may want to look into Wicca though because I do see what your saying!
