Early 1900’s flat top trunk. This style and type of trunk was a common make at the time. There are always small variations of hardware on trunks. With no makers label difficult to ascertain manufacturer. Hope this helps a bit..
I don't know if it helps, the lock is inscribed "Corbin Cabinet Lock Co, New Britain, Conn USA 731". I have web searched for another with the same banding, three horizontal straps over 2 vertical straps. Hope that makes sense.
