    Never posted here before but a family member got this trunk from a garage sale sometime in the 80s or 90s. I was visiting my dad and he wanted to ditch it but I convinced him to hang on until we find out some info because I think it's pretty neat! The lock has been cut off the front and it's definitely been through some moist times but I thought I'd see if anyone had any idea when it was made. Thanks!

      It's not too bad so some old trunks go. You still have the tray insert and most hardware. There's lots of info on line about restoration. Pinterest probably has lots of info and pictures to get you excited about restoring it!
      Maybe you can bring it back to its original look! That would be beautiful!!

      The Pictures are what drew me to this one. I could just imagine, long ago, a woman on a journey ~ keeping her most beloved cats, and (presumably) child's picture displayed prominently in this trunk to keep them close to her heart in her travels. Love it
