Picked this up on used furniture site. Curious to know more about it. FR 2373532. The treadle appears to have had a plate bolted to it as a repair and the cabinet has been terribly painted at least once over but more likely twice. The accessories came in a metal purple velvet lined box. If someone has information they can share with me on this or how best to bring it back to it's original state I'd appreciate it.
I thought mine had been painted too until I saw this post. It must have just come in this color, because mine looks exactly the same! I only have the 4 drawer model, not the 6 though.
