I just inherited this lamp but I can't find any markings. It's really heavy and I love it. Not sure that that is the shade that goes with it though.

Very nice lamp possibly from Italy, late 1960's, but the pictures are too small. Fet rid of the gold tassels, they cheapen the look considerably.

The table is definitely from the late 60's, earlyiest 70's of which I used to buy them in Canada during the 90's at garage sales. This looks to have a good quality base in consideration to mid 70's when the bases were poor. The marble is also of excellent quality, probably 24 inches diameter. The marble usually was stamped italy on the bottom. I bought several of these just for the exquisite marble top as this black is very hard to get now. When I bought mine the bases were poor so I bought them just for the beautiful black or rose marble. They also ised a lot of white with specs. I have saved some of these in my Collections folder.

The tables were sold mainly as bases for the lamps at the time of late 1960's, fro Italy.
