    I think that this is a 19th century or early 20th century casting of a Ming-style Buddha - sitting on a foo dog or lion. There are traces of gilding still on it. I think it's from either Tibet or Nepal.

      Ming-figures had large heads compared to their bodies. Crude casting, so you're probably right in your dating at least.

      Sand casting poured mold and modern cutting tool mark. I am guessing made in the last 30 years. Its shows a Chinese Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha on a lion without his staff.
