Tin toy (?) Cat fishing

This was hanging on the patio of a home I bought three years ago. The previous owner was a elderly gentleman that passed away. His sister had told me that this metal cat fishing was found on the property that is now Kennedy Space Center. There were some small villages in the area prior to KSC, and all were razed when the land was purchased by NASA. I have no other info about it, but I think it's pretty neat.
