Arguably, one of the most interesting Nut Crackers I have ever seen. For a couple of reasons. First, it's not painted in the traditional way. Different types of wood are used to create the effects that paint would normally effect. Second, and a total bonus. Under the base, I found a folded slip of yellow paper. It was a note from the lady who received the Nut Cracker from a married German couple. Tell you the truth, I don't know if I like the Nut Cracker more than the Note. I love the note, it shows some of the history of this Nut Cracker.
