Great grandmother's thimble

The only information I have on this it's what my mother told me she recently passed she was 94 she said it belonged to her father's mother it's sterling silver not sure if it came over from Germany as my grandfather was a Niedentohl. my mother said that my great-grandmother sewed all the clothes with this thimble it was passed down to me it will always be in my family.
