Cardinal salt shaker. Not sure the time period. It was granny's and she kept it on a shelf in the kitchen. Would love to find out some information about it. Aprox 5" tall.

It looks as if someone tired of the tweeting and put put some kind of compound to keep the “tweeter” still. Try to pick all that stuff off so the “tweeter” can move as it is supposed to when shaken.
