This is a new edition to my teacup collection. The cup is marked H&H, which I thought, great, it will be easy to find who made it, but I couldn’t find anything online. However I have several books on tea cups ( The Compendium of British Cups being the most comprehensive), and the name Hilditch & Hopwood came up. I found one example of this cup and saucer online, which dated it to c 1835 and the pattern is apparently called Twisted Tree, with pale blue flowers on branches.
