I picked up this lovely vase at a sale this weekend. When I saw it I was thrilled as I thought it was a piece of Weller that I had seen in a book several years ago. I snatched it up right away without looking at the bottom (the price was a steal regardless) & after looking at the makers mark when I got home all indications are that it is definitely not Weller. The mark appears to be a torch with a flame on top, and a name on a banner like symbol displayed in the center??? Any help in identifying the maker would be greatly appreciated as I've spent about an hour or so on-line with no success. Also, I was told at the sale that the owners had traveled all over the world back in the day so it may be an Ohio piece (where I purchased it), somewhere else in the states, or somewhere way far away, lol. Thanks in advance!!!
