BOAC aluminium ashtray.

A real 'oldie-but-goldie' that after much searching, I finally managed to track down and buy. Although not in perfect condition, it's a great ashtray and I'm proud to have it, as they're pretty far and few between these days and getting a good one is becoming pretty tricky. A couple of light dings on the surface show its age while as you can see, the underside is absolutely perfect.
Difficult to age but from what I've seen, I'm pretty confident it's a piece from the mid-60s.
A fabulous ashtray from the days when travelling were strictly for the smoking jet-set! Hope you like it.
