My "new" clock

I recently bought this clock and I am going to try and restore it so it works. I'm looking for a clock repair place near me to do the job as I know nothing about this process. I love the clock and it has the prettiest chime. I really hope it will work again. The face says Foreign and there aren't any other markings or labels on it. I read that means it is most likely from post WW2 and German made. Design says 1940's. Can anyone offer more info?

I don't know why the photos are sideways. I can't seem to change that.
