I found this duck at a local, non-profit, architectural salvage store today. It is 15 inches long (from tip of the tail to end of the beak), 8 inches wide (from side to side), and stands 8.5 inches tall (to top of the head). It appears to be made of fire glazed clay. It looks very old. I believe it is an antique duck decoy. I could not find any markings on the duck, as to possible manufacturer. Does anyone know how old this may be and who made it. This is way out of my field of collecting, but couldn't pass it up because it is so decorative.

A five dollar antique. I would call that the deal of a lifetime.

Thanks, fhrjr2, I liked it because it is so decorative. This is way out of my field of collecting!
