    Don't have any idea what this is, found in a box of old tools. 9 1/2" long, handle is 4", bottom is 3". Can anyone identify

      Possibly could be used as a "barking spud" or of course as some kind of scraper. Appears to be newer rather than older, whatever that means

      Thinking some variety of (ice, roofing shingles, ???) scraper/chopper too, esp. with the way its blade looks to be fastened to the handle at a slight angle. Wouldn't be something I'd take to the windows of my truck if they got iced, but might be handy for the porch steps, or if I needed a new roof, or...?? ;-) :-) Are there any markings on it?
