This is a VERY heavy stoneware face vase. It measures 12" tall and weighs 9 pounds. I find it intriguing although it is amateurish and looks like a class project piece. I have tried to ID signature but with no luck. This is a huge a heavy piece to handle. Signature looks like K. Softwell or Sactwell to me.

Typically “very heavy” = a student piece. Probably hand built from slabs of clay
