    Japanese Majolican Decanter/Claret Jug. If it were clear crystal I would define it as a claret jug for certain. A complete surprise as I don't remember buying it.

      What a fabulous shape!
      Not one I have seen before.
      Majolican was just a sales name, but sneaky with the very Italian name, and even the i is a nod to Europe I think.
      I can see why you didn’t get the Japanese connection.
