    This little chest was made probably in the 1920s or 30s - by the deco styled drawer pulls. at least that's my guess. all guesses welcome!

      (Source: Council Minute Book #4, page 406. Note: Died in office on March 29, 1907.)

      That will give you the information to date the box stamp. Getting a date on the modified unit may be a bit more difficult. I doubt identifying the contact paper in the drawer would do much good because it was probably an after thought.
