This is just the upper half of the new Imperial Gas sign we recently bought in Ozark MO. The bottom 1/2 is also very nice and this one came with the numbers, which is very rare. We have a couple of others in the Lakeside Museum but none of them have the numbers.
It will likely be a while until we can get this one in the air on the pole as we need to erect the new Event Center building first and are having problems getting the building permit from the City. I never cease to be amazed at how slow, inefficient, and uncaring our City employees tend to be, but that’s government! We have provided the largest pole sign collection in the world free of charge for visitors 7 days a week and can’t get a building permit for a Museum Building because the sewer Dept won’t allow us to hook on to the sewer line in the street? Hard to have a Museum/Event Center without a bathroom. Hello govt! On the other side I also don’t like it in Foreign Countries where there is no zoning at all and the craziness that results.
Nice sign! Don't get me started on government, I live in New York State!

Right. Compared to u I have no complaint but it’s still ridiculous when I can’t get the City to allow us to either hook in to their sewer line or put in our own sewage treatment plant for one toilet to use for a free Museum that helps bring people and interest in to the City. Duhhhh! No one cares! We’ve been dealing with this for many months and it’s impossible to get progress.
Good luck with the city, I’m trying to get into the old county dump where I grew up. If I find the other half to the Imperial I’ll let you know:)

I guess I wasn’t clear, but I have the bottom half as well as the numbers as the sign was complete when we bought it. I just didn’t take a pics of the rest of it as it’s still in cardboard packing. Thx
