Hello CW friends! I wonder if there is a name for this type of chain?

In the first photo I show a closeup of one of the links in the chain. The one to the left is from my necklace, while the one to the right is from a photo of a german earring from 1936.
They are not exaktly the same but quite similar.

My necklace is 41 cm long and consists of a number om links with small pearls. I think the metall is brass that might be goldwashed or what you call it but I am not sure that is the case. I am not an expert on pearls but I don't think they are natural or anything special.
But the necklace is quite nice and "lacelike".

So I would be most grateful for information and or ideas about the name of the chain with this type of link. Are they still made today?
I can't make up my mind if I think this is fairly new or if it has some age. What do you think?

    Update :
After having tryed nomerous variations on line I searched "antique french link filigree chains". I then see chains that looks more like mine but nicer. I think mine is quite vintage revival or new imitating the antique ones. Still don't know the name of the chain type.

I would call it a “beaded chain with stamped metal findings interspersed at regular intervals”....but surely there’s a shorter name.

Watchsearcher :) that is a great observation and description of what it looks like. But I think there might be a more specifik jewelry term, like figaro chain is called figaro or a kind of chain like victorian bookchain is called just that. Thanks for trying but I will have to hope still that someone knows :)

How about “bar chain”. Yours would have bead connectors.

I found examples of “bar link” chain at Halsteadbead.com under “footage jewelry chain”.
Also, Beadpark.com sells chain footage. Look under “bar link chain”.
Neither have your specific bar but maybe having that specific term will help you in your search.

I see what you mean. When I search "antique french link filigree chains" I see chains that looks more like mine but nicer than mine. It makes me think mine is a vintage revival necklace.

When I googled “filigree link bar chain”, I found many examples similar to yours. Yours is very pretty with the beads between the bar links but I don’t know if the beads make it a different style.
I hope the research gives us all some answers....I’m curious about it now!

I agree watchsearcher! There are similar ones when you Google that. But you said earlier " stamped metal finding" and that is correct and I don't see that in the ones shown when I Google, they look more like filigree.
I also hope we will have an answer.

Thank you everyone for loving my post :)

Try eBay for “tribal filigree link and connector” chain. This is similar to yours but the bead is a metal ball rather that a pearl type bead.
It’s for sale by the foot.
Maybe that name will give you a new lead in your search.

Whatchsearcher you are right, thanks! Mine might just be new like these. Will have a look through later to see if I can learn the name of the chain type.
